The Bergman Productions Story

Bergman Productions evolved rather than being created. Joe Wilson and his wife Becky Bergman started their business as JOE WILSON photographer LLC almost 10 years ago when Joe left the newspaper industry after an award-winning two and a half decade career. Back then, Joe focused exclusively on business-to-business commercial photography.

He was able to make this career change because Becky gave the company its seed funding and provided the family with a stable platform upon which they could build their company.

As the business grew, it became obvious that their clients needed high-quality video work done in addition to still photography.

Now, Becky owns the business and Joe does the production and creative work. They are proud to be a woman-owned business and Joe is very proud of his wife for making it all possible.

Even though the parent company remains JOE WILSON photographer LLC, they are now solely doing business as Bergman Productions as a respectful salute to Becky’s family history and Becky’s generous contribution to the family business.

Joe is a commercial filmmaker and photographer who creates remarkable and compelling imagery for brands, corporations, non-profits and individuals whether in the studio or on location. He has a resourceful approach to image making that is supported by his years of experience in the news business, advertising and media.

Joe is known for putting even the most camera-shy person completely at ease in front of the lens. His quick sense of humor and down-to-earth outlook are what allow him to connect with his clients and create powerful images. It also makes him fun on set and easy to collaborate with even when resolving glitches that may surface during the shoot. He feels as comfortable using elegant and complex lighting constructs as he does using natural light.

Joe is skilled, capable and inventive, and his versatility allows him to provide incredible images without needing to rely on a single stylized look. He’s drawn toward character and story-driven imagery that communicate ideas in a memorable way.

Becky’s business acumen and Joe’s artistic abilities are the makings of a great team that provides their clients with effective and useful visual marketing and sales assets.
